Building my website - What did I learn?

1. No man is an Island - I have wonderful friends and family. I received such valuable feedback, editing help and encouragement from my family and friends and I am truly grateful!
2. A Journey of a thousand miles (really does) begins with a single step. taking that first step and walking outside my comfort zone isn’t easy for me... what helped me was communicating my plan to a friend. saying it out-load made it more real and made me more committed.
3. “The stars will never align, and the traffic lights of life will never all be green at the same time. The universe doesn’t conspire against you, but it doesn’t go out of its way to line up the pins either. Conditions are never perfect. ‘Someday’ is a disease that will take your dreams to the grave with you. Pro and con lists are just as bad. If it’s important to you and you want to do it ‘eventually,’ just do it and correct course along the way.” — Tim Ferriss, author of The 4-Hour Work Week
4. I enjoyed the process! it was creative, thought provoking and.... fun! it reminded me that i love learning new things. in the future when I think to my self “marketing isn't my thing” I’ll challenge myself and question that belief.
5. Its not what you Know. It’s who you know. I am so glad i hired Yael Dadon as the web developer and graphic designer. she is creative, original and honest. she listened to my ideas, implemented the good ones and pushed me back on the ridiculous ones.... it felt like a team collaboration and made all the difference. https://www.girafficas.com/
6. To be continued. a website requires works and maintenance . I will need to add content regularly and review it once a year to see if it needs to be updated. the real work just began...
